Quercetin - FRS Healthy Energy
Quercetin is an extremely beneficial phytochemical found in the coloring of various fruits and vegetables (such as apples, red onions, cherries, etc). In the body, it functions as a powerful antioxidant, natural histamine inhibiter (it reduces both the manufacture and release of histamine), and anti-inflammatory agent. There are also independent research studies which suggest quercetin may help to prevent certain kinds of cancer.
Its most popular use is, of course, as a healthy energy booster but it also has the ability to:
- Reduce susceptibility to viral infection
- Improve athletic performance
- Increase the energy available for physical exertion
- Enhance metabolism
- Increase focus
- and much more.
